Something has taken the health industry by storm and it is called Resveratrol. Its popularity hinges on the anti-aging properties it possesses. However, there is a resveratrol scam that is slowly eating the positive benefits that this wonderful substance has been particularly good at as of late. This resveratrol scam involves the free trials that some unscrupulous companies are engaged in. What usually happens in resveratrol scam is that they offer free trials of resveratrol but the trial period commences immediately after the consumer completes their online form and not on the day that you actually receive the product. Sadly, the unassuming consumer gets billed instantly even before he or she is able to assess the product they were excited about in the first place. This resveratrol scam became complicated even further when names of well-known celebrities are being tagged along in this mess. There must be something that can be done to pull the plug of this nefarious resveratrol scam.

There are simple ways you can do to avoid the resveratrol scam that has affected a number of consumers online. First, do not entrust your credit card number immediately just because of the numerous claims and free trials that a company offers without reading their fine print. The targets of ill-motivated companies involved in resveratrol scam are those consumers who do not know what their rights are all about. Take time to know the company you are about to order. Read carefully what they are able to offer and pay attention to their return policy. Ask them straightforward if they offer a 100% money back guarantee. Usually, that will spell whether or not the company you are dealing with is legit or not. Avoid the resveratrol scam today and get the health benefits that resveratrol has been known for.

Maybe not all companies are resveratrol scam

Some companies that do not care about their consumers except for making a quick buck, are just some of the entities you should watch out for. They are the promoters of resveratrol scam. The next time you read free trials for resveratrol, you should be weary about it. They will try to make you believe that you can receive their product totally free without you knowing that you are actually paying for it through their so called free trials. These free trials are not free at all and before you know it, they are charging you with something that hasn’t even reached your address yet. To avoid the resveratrol scam, trust only those local retailers or bona fide online sellers who can provide you with 99% pure resveratrol. Put an end to resveratrol scam today. Be a smart consumer; you deserve to receive the positive health boost that resveratrol can give!

Today, press releases by Oprah & Dr OZ’s companies state that Oprah and Dr Oz have launched over 50 lawsuits against companies promoting products using video clips from the Oprah show to suggest that these huge celebrities are endorsing the brands using this tactic.

As in one other blog entry I made, a company called FWM Laboratories of Hollywood, Fla, leads the flock of companies likely involved in the lawsuit. The lawsuit states that these companies had gravely injured these powerful celebrities’s reputations because of the consumer fury that has resulted from these misleading marketing tactics – typically for the free trial supplements. Resveratrol is but one supplement that these aggressive online marketers have leveraged. They have also used similar video footage for other products such as colon cleansing, teeth whitening, cellulite and anti-wrinkle creams.

You can expect the once rapant surge of adsense ads flooding the marketplace to come to a dead stop because of this breaking news. This will be a welcome reprieve for the legitimate manufacturers of resveratrol supplements that have a lot of science and lab testing behind their products and don’t use the resveratrol free trial method. They have complained how this rash of unscrupulous vendors has dampened the market trust of consumers buying quality resveratrol products.

The end result will be beneficial for the resveratrol marketplace because there is so much ongoing resveratrol studies that interest and awareness will continue to grow in the long run, so ethical companies with good products will begin to thrive again.

In the most recent issue of Newsweek Magazine, an article on the resveratrol scam perpetrated by unethical companies offering free trials, seemingly promoted by celebrities, exposed the main player involved.

The company in question is FWM Laboratories of Hollywood, Fla., with their main product being Resveratrol Ultra. The company has been given an F rating by the BBB and has several legal suits pending. Considering it is only a 1 year old company with this much bad press, portends a likely quick demise. This is very sad, because a resveratrol scam like this gives the good companies a bad name.

Resveratrol Scam?

Most of the consumer outrage occurs because the small print of the resveratrol free trials deal states that the trial period commences immediately upon applying online and completing the form – not when the product is shipped or even delivered. In evitably consumers are billed the $90 order fee even before they have had a chance to try the product or experience any results.

On top of that, this notorious company makes it difficult for consumers to cancel their orders or get credited back. It is amazing that the company hasn’t had their merchant acount revoked from the banks providing them their merchant credit card accounts with all of the chargebacks?

The celebrities are extremely unhappy about their names been associated with these products as well and are proceeding aggressively against this company to stop the abuse. No celebrities want to be associated with a resveratrol scam like this.

Not all companies offering product samples are nefarious. Many offer legitimate products and offer 24 hour customer service and toll free numbers to their customers for simple cancelation. Market Health, sells a resveratrol product called Resveratrol Select in a proprietary blend which includes green tea – a powerful antioxidant. They have been in business for 7 years and offer 24/7 customer service support. If people don’t want to continue using their products, they refund promptly – consumers have easy and clear access to deactivate at any time.

The most important part of the article really is about avoiding companies with limited sales and hazy manufacturing history. If there is no clear way of communicating directly with the company behind the sales promotion then it is better to avoid these altogether and save yourself the aggravation. Just remember, not all sales on this product are resveratrol scams.
