The ‘corporate’ researchers published their study in January in the Journal of Biological Chemistry that questioned previous studies that suggests resveratrol may enhance an enzyme that slows the aging process.

The research in the this field seems to be overwelming in favor of resveratrol being beneficial in may aspects for maintaining good health. This could just be another instance of corporate “bad mouthing” and results oriented scientific study that can be easily skewed to show a specific result.

With the surge in research and subsequent interest in resveratrol because of its seemingly powerful attributes, there are a lot of companies literally investing hundreds of millions into resveratrol business development.

Pfizer, a giant pharamceutical publicly traded company has itself invested over $700 million in resbveratrol research and development. According to market research done by the BBC, the world wide market for anti aging products, which includes resveratrol, will be in excess of $274 billion by 2013. This is based on the 2008 approximate global market size of $162.2 billion with a growth rate of 11.1% per annum.

With the masses of baby boomers hitting middle age or retirement age, there has been a massive interest in staying healthier and living longer – both pillars of the resveratrol research that is so compelling.

There are certainly no shortage of companies jumping on the resveratrol bandwagon and pumping out a multitude of resveratrol products including supplements, creams, powders and beverages infused with the resveratrol source. You have likely seen the myriad ads for free trials and samples from various companies along with generic brands sold online. Most of these companies have established lines and are just ading a resveratrol category to their arsenal. Others have pioneered this relatively new market and have been built from the ground up.

One of these early pioneers that created a product line based on sound research, offers individuals both an opportunity to consume a quality resveratrol product as well as a resveratrol business opportunity to prosper both physically as well as financially.

Advantage Partners, Inc markets a lose dose resveratrol called Resvantage that can be bought directly by consumers online from their website, Resvantage.com, as well as can be sold by individuals who become independent representatives. It is a network marketing opportunity without the need to recruit your friends necessarily inorder to profit from this emerging health trend. They offer individuals a business that allows them to market and sell a line of resveratrol products for both humans and dogs and shortly cats too!

If you are interested or inclined to research this further, you can go to their website and email them or call them and request their literature.
